Kamp Krazy Tales is South Maui's most exciting — and most accessible — summer theatre experience. Every child ages 5–12 can step into the spotlight at no cost to their family.

Led by passionate, professional teaching artists, campers dive into drama games, music, movement, and hands-on crafts while building real performance skills in a joyful, supportive environment.

Every camper creates. Every camper performs. Every camper shines.

From day one, young storytellers collaborate to create their own original short plays — building confidence, creativity, and connection along the way. Whether your child is stepping onto a stage for the very first time or already loves the spotlight, Kamp Krazy Tales meets them exactly where they are and takes them somewhere extraordinary.

Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. is playing at Lahainaluna School Cafeteria starting on Thursday, July 16 at 7 PM, through Sunday, July 19 at 2 PM. The 60-minute musical, designed for middle-school aged performers, is based on the 2008 Broadway production and the 1989 animated feature film. The Theatre Theatre Maui cast contains approximately 41 students led by Director Francis Tau’a and Assistant Director Victoria Navarro with Music Direction by Aida Rose and Vania Jerome and Choreography by Felicia Chernicki-Wulf.

This classic Disney title contains all of the songs from the Academy Award® winning animated feature film as well as three new songs from the Broadway show. THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. takes place in a magical kingdom beneath the sea, where a beautiful young mermaid named Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she’ll have to defy her father, the king of the sea, escape the clutches of an evil sea witch and convince a prince that she’s the girl with the perfect voice.

A performance of Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. is open to the public at Lahainaluna School Cafeteria for the following performances Thursday, July 16 at 7 PM, Friday, July 17 at 7 PM, Saturday, July 18 at 2 PM and 7 PM, Sunday, July 19 at 2 PM.
